Tax Money Against Oneself

When government uses tax money (i.e. a tax is a compulsory financial charge) against one’s belief, it clearly reveals evil versus good and evidences the reality of spiritual warfare upon the people. Government, then, no longer is a true reflection and administrator of the will of people. This is a common problem which occurs in perpetuity (lasting forever) in multicultural/pluralistic nations like America. “Unity” of people is, therefore, merely a word and not reality.

Example 1. Abortion.So what happens when the government tells you that the money you pay for your health insurance could be used to fund the killing of an innocent child? That’s the situation that employees of March for Life found themselves in following the passage of the Affordable Care Act (ACA) by the Obama administration in 2010. Through the ACA, the U.S. Department of Health and Human Services (HHS) created an abortion pill mandate attempting to force many employers to provide employees with abortion-inducing drugs, sterilization, and contraception through their health plans. If they refused, they faced heavy financial penalties.” (Source ADF) 

Example 2. Federal tax money used for sex change operations.

Example 3. War. Secular people often accept war as a normal reality, just live with it-accept it, while true Christians are adamantly opposed to war, and, therefore, are commanded by God to be solely peacemakers. Tax money is used to make guns and bombs instead of growing food or making drinking wells. History makes clear that there are war economies and peace economies: “All of the dictatorships glorified force. Compelling the people to work for ‘bullets rather than butter, they converted their industries to war production. Example 4. Moral relativism. Secular people often believe there are no absolute moral truths to live by while true Christians adhere to Biblical righteousness; that is, those actions which produce loving relationships. So the money taken through public taxes to fund prisons are used either for punishment or for restoration of the individual.
