The Holy Bible<\/a>, inclusive of both Old and New Testaments (66 Books), presents a form of government radically different from human monarchies, secular republics, and secular democracies. Jesus is\u00a0theocracy<\/a>\u2014direct rule by God. Believers whose hearts and minds are of the “born again”<\/a><\/strong> experience constitute Jesus’ Church<\/a> and become a Holy Nation, a Holy People<\/a>. The term Peter used for the English term \u201cnation\u201d is \u201cethnos.\u201d It means a distinct people group. “The solution to man’s problems is not to reform present governments, but rather to replace them with the Kingdom of God.” – Church of God<\/em>, a Worldwide Assoc., Inc.<\/em><\/a> This is why Christ Jesus was crucified as a rebel and blasphemer by the evil powers two thousand years ago, and why the Church continues to be persecuted<\/a>. Existing into the present day is a power struggle between God and man, good and evil, hate and love in the ideological\/spiritual realm. Understanding the distinction of God’s government and man’s government not only clears away myths about counterfeit \u201cChristian countries\u201d (e.g. USA\/America<\/a>) but also points us to the deeper truth: the kingdom of God is not of this world; meaning, like anything man has ever tried previously or knows how to establish. Holy Nation is a<\/strong> Biblical<\/strong> Metanarrative<\/strong><\/a>\u2013 an overarching account or interpretation of events and circumstances that provides a pattern or structure for people\u2019s beliefs and gives meaning to their experiences: \u201ctraditional religions provide stories that deliver a metanarrative about how we should live our lives.\u201d Messianic Jews and Christians navigate this world always from Biblical teachings.<\/strong><\/p>\n\n\n\n

“You, however, are controlled not by the flesh, but by the Spirit, if the Spirit of God lives in you. And if <\/em>anyone does not have the Spirit of Christ, he does not belong to Christ.”<\/strong> -Romans 8:9<\/em><\/p>\n\n\n\n

\"\"<\/a> God\u2019s People are rooted in both Old Testament and New Testament emphasizing the continuity between God\u2019s Covenant with Israel and His Covenant with faith Believers in Yeshua, Jesus. His new covenant<\/a> re-established His Holy Nation<\/a> that first began in the Old Testament<\/strong>: God redeemed Israel from slavery in Egypt. Messiah Jesus is the clearest picture of Passover<\/a> in all of Scripture. The Last Supper was actually a Passover Seder<\/a>, and through it, Jesus revealed how He is the fulfillment of this powerful story. The unleavened bread, the Passover lamb, even the cups of wine\u2014it all points to Him! Yeshua, Christ Jesus paid our penalty. Only Yeshua\u2019s shed blood could permanently erase that death penalty because of disobedience! Israel\u2019s status and success as a \u201cspecial treasure\u201d, a \u201ckingdom of Priests\u201d and a \u201choly nation\u201d is dependent upon her<\/em> obedience to the Covenant<\/em>. If Israel is faithful to God and keeps the Covenant, then she will enjoy that special status; if not, then she loses that status and must pay the penalty for breaking covenant.<\/strong> But Yahweh will never ever forsake her permanently.<\/strong><\/p>\n<\/div>\n\n\n\n

\"\" Christ followers are called to be a separate nation within the nations whose very existence testifies of the excellencies of the King who rules over us. New Testament: \u201cBut you are a chosen generation, a royal priesthood, a holy nation, His own special people, that you may proclaim the praises of Him who called you out of darkness into His marvelous light;\u201d<\/strong> -1 Peter 2:9<\/em><\/mark> <\/p>\n<\/div>\n\n\n\n

 Old Testament\/Torah: \u201c<\/sup>And you shall be to Me a kingdom of priests and a holy nation.\u2019 These are the words which you shall speak to the children of Israel.\u201d<\/strong> \u2013Exodus 19:6<\/em><\/mark><\/p>\n<\/div>\n<\/div>\n\n\n\n

\"\" Exhortation:<\/a><\/em><\/strong>  No human being- even churchgoers, ministers, priests, rabbis- have been granted the right to specify that certain humans are \u201cqualified\u201d to be claimed by God.<\/strong> There is a Spiritual Nation governed by God himself.<\/strong><\/em> This spiritual nation exists both now, in this present world, and in the heavenly realm, in the life to come. The earthly geographical location, and the racial origin of the inhabitants of God\u2019s spiritual nation do not matter at all! \u201cMembership\u201d in a specific denominational church does not open the gate to this nation. Human will and effort do not bring about admission into God\u2019s spiritual nation.<\/strong><\/p>\n\n\n\n

\"\" Life is sacred<\/a>! Jesus’ Holy Nation has but one head and that is Christ<\/a>. The spirit that guides<\/a> this People is divine<\/a>.<\/strong> Jesus’ Holy Nation is comprised of born again\/anew<\/a> persons as written in Holy Scripture.<\/strong> As God is Love<\/a>, and Jesus walked on earth in love<\/a>, so do the <\/strong>People of God<\/strong> live by love.<\/strong><\/a> Jesus’ Holy Nation’s practice is love.<\/a><\/strong> Jesus’ Holy Nation is NOT a political nation- it functions exclusively in the eternal Word of God. Jesus’s Holy Nation is NOT unequally yoked with unbelievers<\/a>; secular people have a different agenda in life.<\/strong> Jesus’ Holy Nation People are exclusively Peacemakers<\/a>, and, therefore, do not<\/em> train for physical war.<\/a> Following suit are some Palestinians<\/a>. Jesus’ Holy Nation is in unity.<\/a><\/strong> As to His organization and church, man has had nothing whatever to do in shaping it in any way . . . All man has ever had to do with it was to accept it as it was made by the Lord himself. This church is perfectly organized even to detail governing the actions of all its faithful believers. Its appointed seasons of worship are all appointed. The ministry with all other gifts needed in its government and service is all provided for. It needs no manmade constitution, or by-laws<\/em>, that are not given in the Bible. <\/strong><\/p>\n\n\n\n

\u201cThe Kingdom of Christ is separate from the kingdoms of this world. They can never be presumed to be one and the same, no matter what rationalization we try to make. The two operate with two different operating systems.  The kingdom of this world centers on \u2018ME,\u2019 while the Kingdom of Christ centers on \u2018HIM.\u2019\u201d \u2026 \u201cThe Kingdom of Christ is incompatible with a political system.<\/em> Participation in politics by voting and\/or holding office denies and confuses the two separate systems. Holy Nation is God’s story<\/a>. All <\/em>people’s life story relates and integrates into the Holy Scripture<\/strong>! Whether you be evil or good, sinner or righteous, a non-believer, or Believer, you are absolutely in God’s story.<\/strong> Jesus is Theocracy!<\/a><\/strong><\/figcaption><\/figure>\n\n\n\n

Many people in error divide Christianity into Protestant, Catholic, and Orthodox.<\/strong> Jesus makes clear that the faith and religion He brings is One God, One Faith!<\/a><\/strong><\/p>\n\n\n\n

You must<\/em> also come to understand spiritual entities in the battle of good and evil: <\/a>The main difference between state and nation is that state is a manmade political and legal entity controlling a specific territory, whereas nation (ethnos) means a distinct people group. Jesus’ Holy Nation is God’s creation not man’s!<\/em><\/strong> Eternal Christ Jesus<\/strong><\/strong> will make State<\/a> a derision<\/a>. e.g. Vermont State.<\/a><\/strong> Holy Nation people are of a higher standard than secularists.<\/a><\/strong><\/p>\n<\/div>\n<\/div>\n\n\n\n

\"\" \u201cHowever arrogant the world, Jesus Christ is King. There\u2019s nothing anybody can do about it. <\/strong>Psalm 2 says \u2018Why do the heathen rage? I have set my King upon my holy hill of Zion\u2019. They may revolt, but His kingship and throne will never be moved. Democracy <\/a><\/strong>decreed Christ\u2019s death but not His Kingship. \u2018He IS Lord\u2019. Some mistakenly assume Christians gain control of the cities and the nations, \u2018binding their kings in chains\u2019, so that Christ can take over. \u201cTorah and the translation of the word Torah are greatly misunderstood by Christians. \u2026 Torah means teaching or instruction, not law. Please make a conscious effort to erase what you have heard about \u2018LAW\u2019 in biblical teachings. \u2026 The Torah judge does not sit on a bench as an inquisitor, nor as a symbol of governmental powers, he sits on his tribunal as a teacher, as one to whom has been given the privilege of interpreting in human terms God\u2019s will and God\u2019s word. \u2026 The Jewish legal system functioned without any coercion [government by force];  it could not exercise any physical or penal sanctions. There were no prisons alongside the academies or the synagogues where the Jewish tribunal would convene. There was neither policemen nor bailiffs prepared to carry out the orders of the court. The judge sat completely disarmed. He had nothing, not any powers- except for reverence of Torah and the conscience of the people. Jewish law addressed itself to developing the character of the people, to refining individuals as human personalities, to replacing the lack of external force with the presence of inner sanctity. The law was obeyed not because there were jails, but because a people inwardly accepted it and its decisions. Consequently, its decisions and decrees were carried out with a fidelity and dispatch that no penal system ever inspired.
