Jesus Paid

We love Him because He First Loved Us!

It is written: “You were bought at a price; do not become slaves of men.”-1 Corinthians 7:23

“Christ bought us with His blood and made us free from the Law. In that way, the Law could not punish us. Christ did this by carrying the load and by being punished instead of us. It is written, ‘Anyone who hangs on a cross is hated and punished.’ Because of the price Christ Jesus paid, the good things that came to Abraham might come to the people who are not Jews. And by putting our trust in Christ, we receive the Holy Spirit He has promised.” -Galatians 3:13-14

“If anyone says, ‘I love God,’ and hates his brother, he is a liar; for he who does not love his brother whom he has seen cannot love God whom he has not seen. And this commandment we have from him: whoever loves God must also love his brother.” -1 John 4:20-21

Please be wiser than a fool- do not reject Christ Jesus, Yeshua Messiah because of the poor examples you may see who profess to be “christian” …some are plainly not Christian while others are a work in progress under grace; they may be battling evil spirits in their minds causing them to be weak in the flesh, and, as a result, fall into temptation in unacceptable behavior. True Christians will humble themselves and ask for forgiveness under such circumstances. Jesus makes clear, even so, to learn from Him and to keep your eyes fixed on Him and not on any man! Jesus makes people holy through repentance of sin. His Spirit convicts a person but does not condemn that person to see the ugliness/wickedness of a sin, and then empowers a person to live free from a sin! “Go and sin no more.”

“This is how you can recognize the Spirit of God: Every spirit that acknowledges that Jesus Christ has come in the flesh is from God, but every spirit that does not acknowledge Jesus is not from God. This is the spirit of the antichrist, which you have heard is coming and even now is already in the world. You, dear children, are from God and have overcome them, because the one who is in you is greater than the one who is in the world.” -1 John 4:2-4

“Be imitators of God, therefore, as beloved children, and walk in love, just as Christ loved us and gave Himself up for us as a fragrant sacrificial offering to God.” “But the fruit of the Spirit is love, joy, peace, forbearance, kindness, goodness, faithfulness, gentleness and self-control. Against such things there is no law.” -Galatians 5:1, 22-23

“You worship what you do not know; we worship what we know, for salvation is from the Jews. “But an hour is coming, and now is, when the true worshipers will worship the Father in spirit and truth; for such people the Father seeks to be His worshipers. “God is spirit, and those who worship Him must worship in spirit and truth.” -John 4:22-24

“Torah and the translation of the word Torah are greatly misunderstood by Christians. … Torah means teaching or instruction, not law. Please make a conscious effort to erase what you have heard about ‘LAW’ in biblical teachings. … The Torah judge does not sit on a bench as an inquisitor, nor as a symbol of governmental powers, he sits on his tribunal as a teacher, as one to whom has been given the privilege of interpreting in human terms God’s will and God’s word. … The Jewish legal system functioned without any coercion [government by force]; it could not exercise any physical or penal sanctions. There were no prisons alongside the academies or the synagogues where the Jewish tribunal would convene. There was neither policemen nor bailiffs prepared to carry out the orders of the court. The judge sat completely disarmed. He had nothing, not any powers- except for reverence of Torah and the conscience of the people. Jewish law addressed itself to developing the character of the people, to refining individuals as human personalities, to replacing the lack of external force with the presence of inner sanctity. The law was obeyed not because there were jails, but because a people inwardly accepted it and its decisions. Consequently, its decisions and decrees were carried out with a fidelity and dispatch that no penal system ever inspired. Further the law was obeyed because the people realized and accepted that it was righteous, humane, considerate, and motivated by love of God and total surrender of vanity and self-interest to the principles of His teaching of the inviolate nature of Tzedek- true teaching of God’s justice.”  -Scripture taken from The One New Man Bible, copyright 2011 William J. “God undertook the most dramatic rescue operation in cosmic history. He determined to save the human race from self-destruction, and He sent His Son Jesus Christ to salvage and redeem them. The work of man’s redemption was accomplished at the cross.” -Billy Graham
