Commentary on these verses: You can give yourself powers, duties, and titles of position that exalt yourself above other people (sin of pride), even denying the existence of God as if you were god or a god; however, to God Almighty, you are still one created person who is accountable to Him! The word demigod is defined: a lesser or minor god: a deified mortal (emphasis addd). Mere created men are NEVER god, and those who end up in powers of influence are easily tempted to fall into this deadly sin of thinking of oneself as demigod. To understand the TRUE relationship between God and man, remember that you are only a created being that neither put life into motion, nor put the universe in place.
